Welcome

February 28th 2008...
Hello to all our family and friends, February has been a difficult month for our little family.
David's mother has been diagnosed with Lymphoma Cancer. The doctors have told us it is very treatable and it responds well to Chemo. She has had her first treatment and we are all looking forward to when she is feeling better again.
Tabitha is being home schooled again, we are expecting to be moving around a bit in the next few months so it will help. We plan to stay here at Pinegrove campground till the end of March and then we may move. No plans to buy a home right now, the market is really awful and we cant afford any of it. :(
Our family is adjusting to having 3 Siberian huskies instead of 4, it is easier in some ways. Avalanche, Akela and Aurora are all doing very well. We have set up a kennel in Mom and Dad's yard so I can go for visits. We all miss Apache very much. We received a surprise present from some other Siberian owners (people that own siblings of our other sibes), they gave us a oil painting of Apache, it is so beautiful and a very thoughtful gift. We look forward to displaying it in our new home one day.
David actually ended up back in Clearwater to work for a month. So he is staying at his parents house. The congregation there is taking good care of Martin and David well Susan is in the hospital and they are well fed every night! Thank you.
Hope all is well and would love to hear from anyone that has the time to drop me an email.
All our love
Tammy, David, Tabitha, Aurora, Akela, and Avalanche
January 25th 2008...
Well alot has changed in the last couple of months, we have sold our house and are living in our holiday trailer! Yes I know alot of you are thinking we are crazy but it was time for a change and we needed to be closer to David's work. We are staying at the Pinegrove campground in Mclure. You can check out thier site on my links page (I made thier website for them). A really nice couple own the campground and they have two kids that Tabitha gets to play with. The first time she has ever had neighbourhood kids to play with and she really likes them.
We are not sure where we will be staying for the summer, we would like to buy a peice of property and build a small home. But property is hard to find right now. Some of you may know that we no longer have Apache, our oldest Siberian Husky any more. He was killed by a train in December, we all miss him very much. So now we have three huskies, Aurora, Avalanche and Akela. In our search for our property we hope to find them some room to have a big kennel to run and play because they are missing our big backyard. I am finding it hard to say goodbye to our home, we moved in when Tabitha was 6 months old. There are alot of memories made there. Taking down 13 giant cottenwood trees, building sheds and decks, renovating everyroom of the house! Tabitha learned to crawl, walk and talk there. I hope we get to stay in our next home a long time.
It is a little strange being away from Clearwater, David and I have basically lived there our whole lives, but I do enjoy going home for visits!
All our love
April 5th 2008...
Well more changes... we traded in our holiday trailer for a bigger brand new holiday trailer. Darcy told us about one that had two bedrooms, exactly what we needed! So in March we took our old trailer from the Mclure campground to Mom and Dads in Clearwater to empty and clean. Once we got the new trailer we stayed in Clearwater for a week so I could have time to organize and sort our stuff. We decided to move closer to David's work so now we are staying at a forestry campground at PeterHope Lake. It is 8km off Highway 5a between Kamloops and Merrit. We have a really nice campground spot but I will be happier when we get some nice days. We are still getting light snowfalls!
Our new trailer is beautiful, it has two slides, one for the couch and table and one for Tabitha's bed. It gives us alot more living space. I am finding it a little lonely so maybe when the weather gets better we will get some weekend visiters! Hint, Hint.
David and I celebrating our 14th wedding Anniversary on April 16th and Tabitha turned 12 years old in March. Time sure flies.
On May 1st we are doing something that has never been done before...
a family vacation with James, Val, Mikey, Mom, Dad, Mia, Hailey, David, Tabitha and I. We are all going to Disneyland for three days! Should be a vacation to remember!
May 11th 2008...
Hello to family and friends, we are still camped at Peter Hope Lake and should be here for the rest of the month.
We had a great time on our trip to Disneyland, it was great! I have some pictures up on my May pictures page. It was so nice to go with Family and share the fun! All the kids where so good. We all left with sore feet and some of us with sunburns.
We are STILL getting some snow here up on the mountain but on the sunny days I am sitting outside by the fire watching the fishermen catch fish!
For those of you that don't know... Talon started to walk about a week ago, it is sooo cute.
Not alot of Family news, we are all healthy and pups are doing good also. We are missing Clearwater and wishing David's work was a little closer so we could be closer to family. The trailer is great, it is a nice home for us.
August 7th 2008...
Sorry it took so long for an update. We have been staying at Lac La Juene for 3 weeks. We really enjoyed it but no internet, so no updates! We are at Kamloops RV Park for a week or so. It is right beside the Kamloops wildlife park. I have internet here! BUT it is very hot living right in Kamloops.
After we left Peter Hope Lake Tabitha and I stayed in Clearwater for 3 weeks, it was nice to spend time with family. Then we went to Lac La Juene which is about 20 min from Kamloops, we stayed at a provincial campground. For the August long weekend we stayed at Sheridan Lake with family and friends, we had a great time. In about a week we are going to Shuswap lake for a week then back to Lac la Juene for the last week of August and the long weekend of September. Busy, busy, busy!
It looks like we won't be buying property till spring. Still not sure where we want to buy. I would really like to buy bare land so we can build what we want on it. Hope everyone is well. Lots of love...
